Denton is a small city north of Dallas and Ft. Worth, working in tandem with those cities to form the geographical polygon known as the “Golden Triangle”. Home to two institutions of higher education — The University of North Texas, and Texas Women’s University — Denton is also ground-zero to some of my favorite restaurants, memorable sunset viewings, and good friends.

A day can be said to have ended well when a scoop of Beth Marie’s ice cream sits in my belly and a stack of dusty tomes from Recycled Books is tucked under my arm.
